EPPO Reporting Service (2006/141) : first detected in August 2006 on 3 samples of leek (Allium porrum), in Pays-de-la-Loire region. Surveys are ongoing.
EPPO Reporting Service (2009/119) : IYSV was detected in several samples of A. schoenoprasum, A. sativum, A. cepa and A. porrum. In Allium crops, Thrips tabaci can cause direct damage, but so far, no economic losses can be attributed to the occurrence of IYSV.
