Comments
EPPO Reporting Service (2008/033) : IYSV was first detected in Rheinland-Pfalz on onions (Allium cepa and Allium fistulosum) in summer 2007. However, similar symptoms had been observed in 2003 in the same region on onion crops. Eradication measures have been taken.

EPPO Reporting Service (2013/41): IYSV was detected in numerous onion and leek fields of the Rhine valley area (southwestern Germany). No indication of crop losses in bulb onions.
