EPPO Reporting Service (2013/041) : reported for the first time in 2012, present in the northern part of Sweden.
* Lindelöw Å (2013) [Ips amitinus (Coleoptera, Scolytinae) expected and found in Sweden]. Entomologisk Tidskrift, 134, 203–206 (in Swedish).
-------- First found in 2012 near the Finnish border in a pile of debarked, freshly cut logs (Pinus sylvestris and Picea abies) along a road between Vittangi and Lainio.
