EPPO Reporting Service (2010/052) : observed for the first time in February 2010 in 1 production site of tomato fruits (Bács-Kiskun county), under eradication.

EPPO EPPO Reporting Service (2015/035) : since its first record in 2010 in the Southern part of Hungary, studies using pheromone and light traps have showed that it has spread east- and westwards. The pest was found in both field and glasshouse tomatoes. The early flight of adults observed in the fields (end of February/beginning of March) suggests that it is able to overwinter in the Carpathian Basin.
