Comments
Found for first time in 1989 in 4 localities on gerbera and saintpaulia in glasshouses, and on rose. Eradicated by rapid quarantine measures. EPPO Reporting Service 507/03 (1990-06).

EPPO Reporting Service 513/13 (1991): reinfestation of 29 sites in 1990. Measures taken.

From country itself (1991): spot occurrence observed in 4 places (max 1 ha). By 1993, spot occurrence on 6 sites of about 6 ha (EPPO Reporting Service (93/198)). In 1995, spot occurrence at 8 places (totalling 0.57 ha).

According to report to EPPO Conference in Pruhonice (1998), now widespread and causing major problems. Special measures to keep it out of plants for planting.
