EPPO Reporting Service (2020/158) : widespread in the Northern part of the country, in Chuy and Issyk Kul provinces. Also found in the regions of Osh (South-West) and Jalal Abad (Central-West).
As of 2020-01: officially reported from 2 regions (Chuy and Issyk Kul, 10 districts, 51 ha).
According to Doolotkeldieva et al. (2021), it has spread throughout the northern part of the country, affecting apple orchards across the Chuy and Issyk-Kul provinces. It has also been found in South Kyrgyzstan.
