Comments
According to Tsopelas (2008), Cryphonectria parasitica was first recorded in Greece in 1963. It gradually spread all over Greece in natural stands and chestnut plantations causing extensive tree mortality.

EPPO Reporting Service (2010/041) : first found in 2006 in the islands of Crete and Lesbos.

EPPO Reporting Service (2016/162) : first found in 2011 in the island of Corfu.
