EPPO Reporting Service (2015/033) : confirmation of the occurrence of C. parasitica using laboratory testing. Detected in chestnut trees (Castanea sativa cv. ‘Marron de Lyon’) planted along a roadside (comprising in total 120 trees over 900 m) in the communes of Wemmel (Flemish region) and Jette (Brussels-Capital Region).

EPPO Reporting Service (2016/060) : 3 new outbreaks found in the provinces of East Flanders and West Flanders. Under official control.

From NPPO (2019): surveys conducted in the the framework of a research project from 2015 to 2018 confirmed the presence of the fungus in Brussels region, Flemish Brabant, West and East Flanders, Hainault.
