Elsinoë fawcettii(ELSIFA)
Distribution details in Italy
Situation
Current pest situation evaluated by EPPO on the basis of information dated
1992: Absent, invalid record
From CABI Disease map 125 (1986): Present, no details
Comments
All records of this pathogen in Italy are dubious generally speaking. Early records referred to species of Cladosporium and their relation with E. fawcettii was not proved. The only well documented record of the occurrence of a citrus scab in the Mediterranean area is that of E. australis, not E. fawcettii, on lemon fruits in Sicilia.
