Found in the following regions: Aquitaine (Dordogne, Gironde), Bourgogne (Saône-et-Loire), Corse (Haute-Corse, Corse-du-Sud), Centre (Indre-et-Loire), Ile-de-France (Essonne, Yvelines, and Val-d’Oise), Languedoc-Roussillon (Hérault), Limousin, Midi-Pyrénées (Hautes-Pyréenées, Lot), Pays de la Loire (Loire-Atlantique), Rhône-Alpes (Ain, Ardèche, Drôme, Haute-Savoie, Savoie), Provence-Alpes-Côte d’Azur (Alpes-Maritimes, Rhône, Var); under official control.

EPPO Reporting Service (2007/086) : first found in Alpes-Maritimes in 2005 at a few locations. Under official control.

EPPO Reporting Service (2008/097) : the first outbreak found at St Dalmas Valdéblore (Alpes-Maritimes) has been eradicated. But in 2007, 2 outbreaks have been detected: one in the Roya valley, Alpes-Maritimes (natural spread of the pest from nearby Italy), and another isolated one in Haute-Garonne. Under official control.

EPPO Reporting Service (2009/108) : the outbreak in Haute-Garonne has been eradicated. Containement continues in the south-east of France (Alpes-Maritimes).

EPPO Reporting Service (2010/137) : spread continues in the south-east of France (Ain, Ardèche, Alpes-Maritimes, Drôme, Haute-Corse, Haute-Savoie, Rhône, Savoie, Var), under official control.

EPPO Reporting Service (2011/108) : first found in June 2010 in Haute-Corse. Biological control is envisaged.

EPPO Reporting Service (2011/176) : new outbreaks reported in 2011 in the departments of Dordogne, Gironde, Hérault, Indre-et-Loire, and Lot. Biological control is envisaged.

EPPO Reporting Service (2012/142) : new oubreaks reported in 2012 in Ile-de-France region, in gardens and forest stands (7 sites in total, in the departments of Essonne, Yvelines, and Val-d’Oise).
