Comments
EPPO Reporting Service (1998/198) : first report (156 adults trapped) made at IWGO Diabrotica meeting in Slovenia, in NW corner of country near the Yugoslav and Romanian borders. Trapping programme in place since 1995.

EPPO Reporting Service (2000/031) : spread since 1995 25 and 35 km from Serbian and Romanian borders

EPPO Reporting Service (2001/003) : additionally found near Dimova and Montana. Continuing to spread.

EPPO Reporting Service (2002/001) : continuing spread to S and E. Found near Kneja and Stara Planina. No adults trapped in area of first detection (around Lom).

EPPO Reporting Service (2003/001) : slight further spread in 2002

EPPO Reporting Service (2004/058) : 4770 adults caught in 2003. Larval damage observed but no economic damage.
