Occasionnally trapped in California and always subject to eradication measures.

EPPO Reporting Service (2002/020) : 4 adults found in California in 2001. Also in Santa Clara county (2001), under eradication (http://www.cdfa.ca.gov/cdfa/pendingregs/docs/peachfruitflyNOT.pdf).

EPPO Reporting Service (2006/128) : 6 adults caught in Fresno county. Eradication was declared successful in California in July 2006 (NAPPO, 2006).
