NPPO (2024): A specific surveillance programme for Bactrocera zonata with traps has been implemented in Lombardy since 2020. Since then only 1 adult was caught in August 2023, near the Milan Wholesale Fruit and Vegetable Market, This is considered as an incursion linked to imported fruits.
