NPPO (2020): 1 adult (male) caught in a trap close to Orly airport (Paris), to a wholesale fresh produce market and to road axes, in an urban area (Val-de-Marne, Ile-de-France). Considered as isolated findings linked to the import of infested exotic fruits not outbreaks.

NPPO (2021): 3 adults (male) caught in a trap close to Orly airport (Paris), to a wholesale fresh produce market and to road axes, in an urban area (Val-de-Marne, Ile-de-France). Considered as isolated findings linked to the import of infested exotic fruits not outbreaks.

EPPO Reporting Service (2023/038) : trapped close to Orly airport (Ile-de-France region): 1 adult in 2020, 3 adults in 2021 and 3 adults in 2022. Transient.

EPPO Reporting Service (2024/215) : no further finding. Considered eradicated.

NPPO (2025-09): 2 adult caught in two different traps one located in a citrus orchard) in two municipalities of the departement Alpes-Maritimes (Provence-Alpes-Côte d’Azur region) in August 2025. As of September 2025, no further detection occured, and no larvae were found. Considered as isolated findings linked to the import of infested exotic fruits not outbreaks.
