Declared absent, and original unconfirmed report declared erroneous, in EPPO Reporting Service 452 in 1984 (EPPO Reporting Service (1984/01) ). Further confirmed by surveys in the Mediterranean and Aegean regions of Turkey (EPPO Reporting Service (1995/168) ).
EPPO Reporting Service (1997/56) : surveys were also conducted in 1990/1991 in the potato-growing areas of Afyon (Aegean region), Bolu (Black Sea region), Nevsehir and Nigde (Central Anatolia). A total of 35200 tubers was tested and found free.
EPPO Reporting Service (2010/105) : first detected in 2007 in a small number of potato samples collected from the Kayseri province (Central Anatolia), under official control.
