EPPO Reporting Service (1999/055) : results for the 1997 harvest were that ring rot was found on 68 samples of ware potatoes out of 1905 tested. None were found in 1443 samples of seed potatoes. Concerning imported potatoes, 2 positive results were obtained for industrial potatoes from Sweden (out of 262 samples tested).
EPPO Reporting Service (2001/044) : in a specialized seed-potato farm on which ring rot has never been found, one tuber, grown from a seed-potato lot originating in Germany, was found infected in 2000.
