Comments
EPPO Reporting Service (2001/105) : in a 2000 survey, the bacterium was not found in seed potatoes, but was detected in 9 out of 73 samples of ware potatoes. Estonia is now applying measures equivalent to those of EU Directive 98/35 to contain and eradicate the disease.

EPPO Reporting Service (2002/072) : similar situation in 2001.

From NPPO (2018): official annual surveys in 2001-2017 have identified several outbreaks, all, except one, have been eradicated. Samples were collected in ware and seed potato storage facilities.

From NPPO (2019): official annual survey detected several outbreaks: in the municipality of Kolga-Jaani (in seed potatoes), and in the municipality of Suure-Jaani and Viljandi (in ware potatoes). Eradication measures are applied.
