Reporting Service 520/06 of 1992-02: found in a survey of potato plants and tubers in the coastal region near Alger.
The Algerian NPPO subsequently declared that C. m. sepedonicus does not occur in Algeria and that the above record is erroneous. The evidence for this was accepted by the EU which consequently recognized Algeria again as a country in which C.m.sepedonicus does not occur, for the purpose of export of ware potatoes, by Commission Directive 97/14/EC of 21 March 1997 amending Annex III to Council Directive 77/93/EEC.
