Isolated findings have been made in private gardens or urban areas: in Lombardia (Corbetta, June 2007), Veneto (Cornuda, June 2009 - Maser, 2010), Marche (Grottazzolina, August 2013), Piemonte (Cuneo, Vaie, 2018) - under eradication.
EPPO Reporting Service (2007/166) : first found in June 2007 at Corbetta, in the province of Milano (Lombardia), under eradication.
EPPO Reporting Service (2009/046) : by April 2008, the 4 infested trees found at Corbetta have been destroyed. No further specimens or signs of infestations were observed in Lombardia in 2008. Eradication measures continue.
