EPPO Reporting Service (2003/114) : found at one location, in Gien (Loiret), under eradication.
EPPO Reporting Service (2004/163) : another outbreak, on Acer and Quercus rubra, in St Anne sur Brivet near St-Nazaire (Loire-Atlantique). Under eradication
EPPO Reporting Service (2005/003) : in relation to preceding report, larvae found on Quercus rubra have been confirmed as not A. glabripennis by molecular analysis. Identification is under way.
EPPO Reporting Service (2006/096) : still under eradication. Number of infested trees found continues to diminish, and no outliers are found, so successful eradication is considered feasible.
EPPO Reporting Service (2008/094) : the 2 outbreaks were still under eradication. Gien: in 2007 symptoms were observed on 20 trees but no adults were found. St Anne sur Brivet: in 2007 no symptoms or insects were found. Eradication is considered feasible in both cases.
EPPO Reporting Service (2009/045) : 3 outbreaks were still under eradication in 2008: Gien (6 trees and 1 adult found); St Anne sur Brivet (0 infested trees and 0 beetles); Strasbourg (2 infested trees discovered in July 2008 at the harbour). In November 2008, 1 beetle was found at Velars sur Ouche on a wood pallet from China (incursion). Eradication efforts continue in France.
