EPPO Reporting Service (2009/043) : 2 adult beetles were found in a private garden in 2008. It is suspected that the insects had been introduced by wooden boxes (containing stones) from China. No other specimen could be found, the NPPO of Belgium considers that the pest has not been able to establish. Under eradication.

In addition, surveys carried out across the whole Belgian territory did not detect A. glabripennis for three consecutive years.
