Comments
It occurs in several localities in Lombardia (provinces of Varese, Milano, Brescia), Lazio (1 site in the city of Roma), and Toscana region (1 site in Pistoia), under eradication.

EPPO Reporting Service (2001/101) : a few adults found near Parabiago (Lombardia), as A. malasiaca.

EPPO Reporting Service (2002/019) : further details, i.e. around a nursery importing bonsais from Asia. Found both in Acer and Fagus within the nursery and in various trees (Acer, Carpinus, Fagus) around it, so well established in the nursery and its surroundings. Infested trees are being destroyed.

EPPO Reporting Service (2006/097) : in 2004, found in 13 municipalities of the provinces of Milano and Varese (Lombardia), and in 2005 in 3 more. An eradication campaign is continuing in 2006.

EPPO Reporting Service (2008/194) : first record in the city of Rome, in a public park, under eradication.

EPPO Reporting Service (2018/029) : 1 outbreak detected in October 2017 in Pistoia (Toscana), under eradication.

EPPO Reporting Service (2018/139) : eradication of the outbreak in Prato (Toscana).

EPPO Reporting Service (2019/235) : eradicated from Lazio in February 2019, under eradication in Toscana.

EPPO Reporting Service (2020/220) : official measures continues in Lombardia (containment) and Toscana (eradication).
