According to Inward (2020): during a survey in 2013-2015 in pine and oak forests, Xylosandrus germanus (Coleoptera: Scolytidae) was collected from 6 sites in southeastern England (ranging from Suffolk (Harwich) to Hampshire (New Forest)), and is considered established.
