Isolated outbreaks were reported in the past but all were eradicated.
EPPO Reporting Service (1996/044): found in Adelaide Hills area (South Australia) in March 1994 (second outbreak in Australia). Eradicated.
From NPPO (2012): an incursion was detected in a strawberry germplasm collection in May 2010 in Bundaberg, Queensland. Eradication was declared successful on 22 September 2011.
