Notes

Europe and Mediterranean, Caucasus, Siberia, Russian Far East, Central Asia, China. An annual weed which has become so widespread in temperate regions that it is difficult to determine its original range. Introduced at least in Canada (eastern), USA (west and south), New Zealand, and said to occur at higher altitudes in the tropics
