Comments
EPPO Reporting Service (1994/007): found on tomato, lettuce and asters at a few locations. Not considered established; measures for control and eradication are being implemented.

EPPO Reporting Service (1998/009): in association with the introduced vector Frankliniella occidentalis, TSWV has spread. Numerous ornamentals and vegetables infected, and also various weeds. Outbreaks are, however, sporadic and limited. All Israeli isolates are identical (tospovirus serogroup I, type I (BR-01 strain).
