EPPO Global Database

Aphis citricidus(TOXOCI)

Distribution details in Tunisia

Situation
Current pest situation evaluated by EPPO on the basis of information dated 1999: Absent, invalid record
Comments
Michaud (1998) and Tsai (1999) consider T. citricidus as present in Tunisia on the basis of a publication from Ben Halima-Kamel et al. (1994). However, this publication presents the results of an aphid survey in Cap Bon during which T. citricida was NOT collected (T. citricidus is mentioned in this paper, but only in a general statement saying that it is a citrus pest).
