Comments
Cinara curvipes was detected for the first time in spring 2007 on a single tree (Abies alba) in a private garden in Ljubljana. In summer and winter 2007, it was also found in 2 locations on Abies concolor trees in parks in Muta (north of Slovenia). In Ljubljana, aphids were eliminated with insecticide treatments. In Muta, aphid colonies did not survive the winter.
