The Plant Protection Services of Uruguay strongly dispute the EPPO and FAO reports concerning the presence of it in Uruguay, no bibliographic reference being attached to them. According to their surveys and experts, this pest has never occured in Uruguay and, therefore, they classify it as 'absent with unconfirmed reports'.
