Comments
T. palmi is absent from the UK. There was one outbreak in chrysanthemum in southern England during 2000/2001. Eradication was achieved by an intensive control programme (physical control, foliar insecticides, space treatments and soil sterilisation). T. palmi is regularly intercepted by the UK on imported vegetables and ornamentals.

EPPO Reporting Service (2001/007) : found in two glasshouses producing chrysanthemums in southern England in April 2000. Intensive treatment and containment actions undertaken. Eradication expected.

EPPO Reporting Service (2005/004) : eradication was successful by 2001. A cost-benefit analysis has since been performed.
