Comments
From country itself (1992): one record only: Población Haverbeck, Valdivia, Valdivia province, Xth Región (see reference), on potato cvs. Corahila and Clavela, collected in 1950 and limited to a few garden plots. The area was put under quarantine and potato cultivation prohibited. Población Haverbeck was located on an small island (Haverbeck Is) on Valdivia river. In 1960, after an earthquake, the island sank (1 m down) and became much smaller. Its soils became useless and prone to periodic floods. Today, the island is completely surrounded by urban development and is quite unsuitable for agricultural use.
