Notes

Bangladesh, India (Assam), Indochina, Malesia, China (including Taiwan), New Guinea, Australia. A widely cultivated houseplant, of which there are numerous cultivars including in particular cv. Aureum, which was originally treated as a separate species and  has given rise to some of the common names. Introduced in Caribbean (Hispaniola), South America (Colombia)
