Comments
EPPO Reporting Service (2022/150) : first found in November 2019 on plants of Agave americana on the island of Porto Santo (Madeira archipelago). More specimens were then collected on Agave americana and Furcraea foetida. Also present on the mainland where it was identified in 2019/2020 in Algarve.

From Naves et al. (2021): details on specimens collected from mainland Portugal (Setúbal and Algarve). The first specimens were in fact collected from Setúbal in 2018.

------- More details on specimens collected (all found on Agave americana): 3 adults in a private garden in in Verdizela (Setúbal) in September 2018; 4 adults in a nursery in Patacão (Faro - Algarve) in October 2019; 5 adults in a private garden in Quarteria (Algarve) in October 2020.
