EPPO Reporting Service (2005/187) : sporadically reported in Florida in 1990s. In 2005, reported in Palm Beach and Orlando counties.

EPPO Reporting Service (2010/057) : occurs in Florida and Texas.

Kumar et al. (2013): reports from Alabama, Louisiana, Georgia, and New York.

EPPO Reporting Service (2023/200) : South Asia 1 is established in most of the southern and western states of the United States; East Asia 1 is established in Northeastern states (New York, Pennsylvania, and Massachusetts) and only found on hydrangea and Ilex.
