EPPO Reporting Service (2022/164) : collected in spring 2022 from citrus groves in the Upper Galilee area (Northern Israel). A country-wide survey is currently being conducted.
EPPO Reporting Service (2023/060) : also detected in the northern Negev area, mainly on jojoba trees (Simmondsia chinensis). In the Upper Galilee area, S. citri was found on grapevine (Vitis vinifera) in addition to Citrus plants. Under official control.
