EPPO Reporting Service (1995/239) : which indicates that a paper reporting the pathogen in Switzerland for the first time mentions an earlier report in Spain. EPPO regards this as unconfirmed.

Given as doubtful in the second edition of the CABI map, but deleted from the third in 1995.

The paper from Janoušek et al. (2016) refers to an isolate from Cantabria.

EPPO Reporting Service (2020/018) : observed on Pinus radiata in a nursery of forestry plants located in País Vasco. Containment measures are applied in the area, and eradication measures have been applied in the infested nursery.
