Rhynchophorus ferrugineus(RHYCFE)

Distribution details in Indonesia

Situation
Current pest situation evaluated by EPPO on the basis of information dated 2018: Absent, unreliable record
Comments
All records for Indonesia are now thought likely to be of R. vulneratus, or R. bilineatus, although without molecular studies, a definitive conclusion cannot be drawn (NHM, via CABI, 2016). Confirmed by Surkino et al. (2018) where all studied specimens from Indonesia where either R. bilineatus or R. vulneratus.
