Comments
A paper by Lampe et al. (2005), suggested the presence of the pest in northern Italy. However, this was not confirmed but any other publications and in the EFSA opinion (2014) the NPPO of Italy stated that the pest is absent from its territory.

EPPO Reporting Service (2017/115) : caught in May 2016 in a trap placed in an apple (Malus domestica) orchard in the municipality of San Martino di Bianzone (province of Sondrio). No damage.
