Comments
EPPO Reporting Service (2010/181) : trapped for the first time in August 2010 in one production site of Prunus in Provence-Alpes-Côte d’Azur.

From NPPO (2011-06): eradication measures are being taken.

EPPO Reporting Service (2011/174) : detected in one walnut plantation in Aquitaine. A national monitoring programme will be implemented to better understand the situation of R. cingulata in France.

EPPO Reporting Service (2013/055) : caught in 1 trap located in a cherry tree (Prunus avium cv. ‘Noir de Meched’) near experimental cherry orchards in Languedoc-Roussillon. Phytosanitary measures were taken to eradicate the pest.

From NPPO (2018): few specimens were occasionally caught in 2010 (Provence-Alpes-Côte d'Azur region), in 2011 (Nouvelle-Aquitaine region), in 2012 (Occitanie region), and in 2014 in Lot (Occitanie region) during surveys on Ceratitis capitata and Rhagoletis completa. In all cases, specific surveys conducted in the following year did not detect the pest again.
