EPPO Reporting Service (2023/234) : R. pseudosolanacearum first identified from ginger (Zingiber officinale) tubers produced in two small greenhouses located in Savinjska region (Zreče) in 2023. Under eradication.
From NPPO (2024): R. solanacearum on potato in Duplek (Eastern Slovenia). Under eradication.

------- In annual surveys from 2003-2016, R. solanacearum [phylotype IIB-1] was detected in3 lots of ware potato (1 lot in 2010 and 2 in 2011) but was not detected in seed potato during this period. Official eradication measures were taken and in 2017 the NPPO declared the bacterium to have been eradicated.
