Comments
EPPO Reporting Service (1996/02) : no trace remains of infections on wild Solanum dulcamara in 1970s. Never found in recent years.

Considered eradicated in 1983.

EPPO Reporting Service (2010/099) : detected in 2009 in 2 production sites of ware potatoes, under eradication. The pathogen is expected to be transient.

From NPPO (2019): eradicated.

From NPPO (2021): official surveys conducted since 1995. 2 cases confirmed in 2009 (see above), eradicated in 2012.

From NPPO (2024): detected in seed potatoes in 2024. Under eradication.

------- In annual surveys from 1995-2016, R. solanacearum [phylotype IIB-1] was detected in only 2 lots of ware potato in 2009 and was not detected at all in seed potato during this period. Official eradication measures were taken.
