EPPO Reporting Service (2016/061) : first found in 2013 in the municipality of Lanchkhuti (Western part of the country).

EPPO Reporting Service (2020/147) : since 2016, official surveys have been carried out in kiwifruit orchards throughout the country (including the above municipality) and all results were negative. The NPPO considers that the bacterium is absent from Georgia.
