Pest status declared by NPPO: Present, only in some parts of the Member State concerned, under containment, in case eradication is impossible (2019-08)
Comments
Azores only (it is suspected that it spread from a US military base). Eradication and containement measures are being taken.

EPPO Reporting Service (2019/158) : The pest first appeared on Terceira island in 1970 and then spread to other islands of the archipelago (found in 1996-10 in a limited area in Faial Island - found in 2003 in a small area of the Sao Miguel Island).
