Comments
EPPO Reporting Service (2021/074) : detected at two locations (Tebere and Ndekia) in the Mwea irrigation scheme. This is the first confirmed report of P. canaliculata in continental Africa. Present, only in some areas.

Makale et al. (2024): over 80% of the Mwea scheme was infested with P. canaliculata. Not found in other schemes.
