Comments
In the United Kingdom, a single larva of P. sultana was found in a nursery in 2004 on Lantana sp. which had been imported from the USA. Control measures were advised to the grower and the pest has not been found again.

Agassiz & Feltwell (2020) consider it as an "adventice species", i.e. not established.
