EPPO Reporting Service (1996/135) : details on recent situation in Spain.

From Batlle & Laviña (2011), symptoms were first observed in the 1960s in the Ebro valley (confirmed in 1994). Not considered as a problem until the 1980s when populations of the vector (Cacopsylla pyri) increased significantly. Surveys done in Aragon, Extremadura, Cataluña and Valencia showed that the disease incidence could vary from 5 to 60% (depending on the cultivar).

EPPO Reporting Service (2014/171) : detected in diseased peach trees in Northern Spain.
