Comments
Nikolaeva et al. (2020) report one symptomatic plant, in a field of 500 plants, only in one year. Testing in the same field and of additional samples including potato in the following year did not find phytoplasma. The origin of the strawberry plants in the infested field is not mentioned. This record was considered uncertain but it does relate to 'Ca. Phytoplasma americanum'.
