Notes

Russian Far East, China, Japan, Korea, southeast Asia. Tall perennial grass used for ornamental purposes, increasingly being planted as a crop for biofuel production. It spreads via prolific seed production. Considered invasive in the USA. Introduced in some Euromediterranean countries, North America, Caribbean, South America, New Zealand
