EPPO Reporting Service (2014/007) : first found (as 'Meloidogyne ethiopica') during summer 2009 on tomato and cucumber greenhouse crops in the province of Samsun.
EPPO Reporting Service (2017/216) : recent studies have shown that populations from Turkey were not M. ethiopica but M. luci.
