EPPO Reporting Service (1996/205) , infected potatoes observed in autumn 1994 near Hamburg and close to the Dutch border.
EPPO Reporting Service (1997/03) : not clearly established whether such records are M. chitwoodi or M. fallax.
1998: declared "found but not established".
EPPO Reporting Service (1999/088) : identity of populations earlier found in Germany confirmed by ITS-RFLP, but the nematode can no longer be found.
EPPO Reporting Service (2005/087) : found at one location in Nordrhein-Westfalen in 2003.
EPPO Reporting Service (2011/109) : detected in the soil of a glasshouse used for vegetable production in Hessen, under eradication.
